Building relationships
The University is interested in building institutional relationships with a range of companies and organisations. Institutional relationships go beyond single projects or consultancy, and involve the University and its partners working in a sustained and mutually beneficial way, helping both partners to achieve their business goals.
The University recognises that building such valuable relationships is time consuming and requires a significant amount of effort, and therefore our dedicated business liaison team aims to assist businesses at every possible step along the process.
The University has developed a number of externally facing activities aimed at giving business the opportunity to learn about any of Sheffield´s research activities that may be of interest. These include Mobile Capability Teams, Mobile Poster Teams and visits to companies, and we will be pleased to work with you, either on one of these activities, or on other ideas you may have.
