Dr Peter Totterdell, of the University of Sheffield's Institute of Work Psychology, has been awarded a large project grant from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), worth £2.1million over 4 years.

Infection, inflammation and immunity research at Sheffield

Developing DNA vaccines in the fight against infectious diseases

Professor Andrew Heath, Chair of Cellular Immunology at the University of Sheffield, has been awarded $100,000 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to look into ways of using DNA in vaccines to fight infectious diseases.
