Sheffield hosts careers fair for Yorkshire´s legal talent
Over 75 exhibitors visited the University of Sheffield to meet with Yorkshire´s promising legal talent at the Sheffield Legal Fair. The event, which was held in the University´s Octagon Centre, took place on Wednesday 26 November 2008.
The Sheffield Legal Fair is open to students from all of Yorkshire´s universities who are looking for information on professional legal studies, job opportunities, training contracts or vacation work. Organisations attending included major City of London firms, smaller provincial practices, in-house lawyers, the Government Legal Service and the Bar Council.
There were also a series of talks on the day providing more information on how to pursue a career in the legal sector.
